This service focuses on how your story functions–for instance, structure, plot, genre expectations and requirements, flow, point of view, and characterization. It does not address sentence level grammar. This service includes the following deliverables:

LINE EDIT
Services
An in-depth and thorough edit that goes through the manuscript line by line. Addresses the creative content, writing style, and language use at the sentence and paragraph level. A line edit focuses on the way you use language to communicate your story to the reader.

COPYEDIT
Services
This service corrects spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax. It ensures consistency in spelling, hyphenation, numerals, fonts, and capitalization. This step will also include a stylistic edit, which clarifies meaning, eliminates jargon, and polishes language while maintaining the author’s voice and style.​​​ Typically, this is the last step before proofreading and publishing.
